As someone who regularly trawls beauty and lifestyle sites, I know that nothing is more annoying than reviews with exaggerated claims and skimpy information. That's why I aim to make this site a useful source of information with honest and detailed reviews for all you well-informed beauty junkies!

Cherchez Beauté (pronounced share-shay bo-tay) was set up in 2010 as an outlet for sharing my exploration of the concept of beauty - it means "Looking for beauty" in (bad) French. In my bid to document the beautiful things in life, I've done posts on skincare, make up, nail polish, food, photography, events, travels and music, amongst others. Anything and everything that can be written about, I write.
To me, beauty can be found in the good things in life. I write about all sorts of things I encounter, which I hope to share with you. Creating Cherchez Beauté has been one of the best journeys I've embarked on, and if possible, I'd like it to last a lifetime.
